The colorful, bustling, and dusty “capital” of Narok brands immediately that you are in Maasai. Tribal people are frequently seen along the road with their cattle and goats, and savanna landscape turns up.

The last stretch before you reach Maasai Mara is almost a safari drive as many animals often find themselves outside the reserve boundaries. You will be expected to arrive in the Mara area at mid-day. You will be served with the packed lunches from Mara Sopa Lodge and a large part of the last hours before arrival at the lodge is one long game drive before the accommodation in the cozy and charming Mara Sopa Lodge.
