Day 1 – Kampala and Kibale Forest
Accommodation: Ndali Lodge


Today, you will leave Kampala and drive west through Mubende, arriving in Fort Portal for a hot lunch. Later in the day, you will proceed to the Kibale Forest for a nocturnal walk tracking the galagos, bush babies, pottos, and the night jars. Your accommodation for today will be in Ndali Lodge.
Day 2 – Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, you will start a half day forest walk in the Kibale Forest on a primate eco-walk. Look out for the Red Colubus (an endemic species only found in this forest in Uganda). Other primates include the Chimpanzee, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys, and others. In the afternoon, take a swamp walk in Magombe for a closer-to-nature encounter. Your accommodation for today will be in Ndali Lodge
Day 3 – Kibale Forest and Bwindi National Park
Accommodation: Gorilla Resort



After breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with picnic lunches. You will then drive through the Ishasha Plains, an area famous for its tree climbing lions. Arrive in Bwindi later on the day for dinner and overnight. Your accommodation for today will be in The Gorilla Resort.
Day 4 – Bwindi National Park

After a half hour briefing by the park ranger guide, you will start the trek to find the mountain gorillas which can take two hours up to about 10 hours of trekking time. The trekking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Bwindi / Kampala / Depart
Lunch: Kampala



After breakfast, you will drive to Kampala with a lunch stop in Mbarara followed by another stop at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening.
